As others have said, you can use tricks and tools to get around that and still continue your work. Nothing will change your eye and talent, so the other is just something to work around. You have my prayers.
Have you had that checked out? there are ways around that, please don't give up on your photography! Just like me with my vision...we find ways to compensate for our obstacles!
This is a pretty photo and a brave take on sharing your fear. I, too, have hand tremors and also back spasms. When I'm particularly shaky, I use a tripod. I'm also hoping to soon afford one of the reduced vibration lenses. As others here have commented, you are a talented photographer . Don't give up.
You are in my prayers. I hope that this is a temporary problem and all will return to normal soon! You are a wonderful photographer - and I've noticed some suggestions below - I hope if needed those suggestions will help you out.
Sweetie, it is most likely Essential Tremor. I have it too. And I do more photography now than before. It will NOT interfere, you need a camera that has good anti-handsake and if your camera can take a remote or cable to the shutter button on a tripod you will NEVER be bothered by the tremor. I almost let the camera go until I talked to a man at a great camera store, don't worry, you will be taking great photos long after I am pushing up daisies.
I recently had to give up one of my passions, my quilts. My eye sight is slowly deteriorating. Can't see the eye of the needle anymore. I can only quilt for about an hour before I can't see the eye. So don't give up!! Keep trying, you'll find a way!
Praying for you. In the meantime, get a monopod. I use one alot. It isn't as bulky as the tripod and you can still move easily with it. I had to start using it again when I tore the tendons in my right wrist, and now I love to use it.
Could you not just use a tripod more? I will be praying for you with this situation. Maybe after Evelyn is home and the papers are signed it will be better. Hugs to you.
Mosey, I betcha it is stress related. It can do strange things to our bodies. I don't think it has affected your photography, that is for sure! Prayers from me.
in time you will get it straightened out. Perhaps a good chiropractor? How on earth do you survive 4 young ones with a bad back. Having herniated L3 & L4 myself I can tell you I understand all too well...
Oh, I agree with KristaDee. I too will pray for God's will and that you will know what to do. Prayfully it is nothing serious and you can keep doing what you are so wonderfully gifted at.
I've added this to my prayer journal. I hope that the shake has just been caused by stress about the adoption, and now that Evelyn is on her way, it will leave.
in the past few months I have been struggling with my photography, struggling with a shake that suddenly showed up in my right hand. My fear is that it will not completely leave and that I might have to give up my passion for photography. I have good days and I have bad days, but all in all I'm not feeling very confident in my ability anymore and I'm seriously praying about giving up my business which breaks my heart yet... Not my will but the Lord's be done!
