POD 9/3- Abandoned

I love these kind of shots. I too always "wonder". I wonder how this ol house would look with the right folks that had all the money needed to fix it up again and make it a home. I bet it "could be" a pretty place. I can see big ol' ferns hanging on the porch with pretty lace curtain in the windows.....

I love to dream up stories about old abandoned houses too, usually all the children have grown and moved to the city, Grandpa is gone and an elderly lady sits alone, looked after by aging neighbors. (so why don't I ever think it is someone you won a ton of money and moved on to a newer better house?)

around my parents place there are a few old abandoned yards. I love to wander through, peek in the windows or go inside if the floor is still safe to walk on.... I wonder what kinds of stories and memories were made in the house, and what the walls and windows saw.
