We are officially on a new adventure. Today was your last day of school, the start of Christmas break. I picked you both up from school, and I could tell you’re not sure how to take it. You’re excited to homeschool and yet, you realized that you’ll miss your friends and teachers. I started to cry as you said your goodbyes. I’m not sure that I’m sad – more scared, probably. In following God’s calling for me, I’m taking your futures into my own hands. I’m nervous, scared, excited…obviously on an emotional rollercoaster. But looking at your precious faces, I know – this is why I’m here.
