I love fall colors so much I couldn't stand to change the colors of the leaves, so I decided to keep the fall theme and play with various textures:
gold wire - created a large maple leaf that is in the upper right corner - it didn't photograph too well - it overlaps the tree photo.
gauze - was used to create a texture on the vellum to create the large stained glass leaf and also on some of the darker leaves on the left.
4 leaves were kept "as is" and are in the two bouquets.
Raffia was used to create the flowers in the bouquets.
Corduroy was used for the background behind the hand drawn/cut tree.
Eyes were painted red for the centers of the flowers and the 4th is on the leaf.
Pipe cleaners were painted and became the weeds in the lefthand bouquet.
Paper bag was distressed and became the other handcut stained glass leaf.
Chalk was used to repeat some of the folliage shapes found on the righthand pp onto the lower areas of the left page.
Twine was glued onto cardstock and used to create two of the leaves in the left bouquet.
Puzzle pieces stick out from behind the 2 bouquets.

The glare on the photo was actually the sun peaking between two trees and the view was from my screened in porch. I love those autumn leaves and my autumn colored puppy!
