What a great photo. The colors in it match so well with the elements used on the layout. I love the arrangement of the "fall puzzle pieces." Very well done!
I really like the layering of the photo over the gauze and corduroy and the way you negetive cut the word experience. Your puzzle pieces look pretty that color on this layout.
WONDERFUL!!! LOVE IT!!! THE GAUZE IS PERFECT....SINCE IT REMINDS ME OF CHEESE CLOTHE...TO PLACE SPICES IN WHILE CANNING... I CAN TOO AND JUST LOVE YOUR PAGE!!!!!!!!
:)
awesome! hope you enjoyed the canning experience... I did a bunch of tomatoes and while it is worthwhile it seems to be a never ending chore! I love the way the paper bag title looks over the corduroy and how you incorporated the puzzle pieces into the title.
October scrap pack challenge. I wanted to document my first canning experience and the elements of this challenge seem to work well with it.
1 yd gold wire – I used all of it to create swirls that represent the blustery October. 8” gauze – I used to frame the picture 4 fall leaves – I used in the upper left hand corner of the layout & the lower right hand corner of the picture. Natural raffia – I used in the bow above the picture. 8x10 green corduroy – I cut with pinking sheers and used to frame the picture, placed squares on the top left and bottom right of the layout, and behind the title. 4 wiggle eyes – I painted brown and put in the upper right corner of the layout (Hardest element for me) 2 white pipe cleaners – I bent the in to a zigzag to compliment the pinking sheer cut in the corduroy. Brown paper lunch bag – I cut the bag open and used to for the title. I placed it behind the vellum on the left of the picture. I also put it on my Wishblade and cut the word experience and using the negative placed it over the corduroy. Vellum – I used the vellum in the title on the left side of the picture. Stick Chalk – I use the chalk to distress the word experience. (The picture doesn't show it very well) 1 yd twine – I used it in the bow above the picture. 4 puzzle pieces – I painted green and used in the title. (Fun element)
