Journaling:

When a soldier gets caught behind enemy lines it takes an immense amount of courage for this man to remain true to his beliefs, to keep on struggling for his side no matter how the odds are stacked against him. This was the trapped feeling I had when I moved to Missouri. Being a soldier for the Steelers meant I had some pretty bad odds looking at me everywhere I turned. There are armies from several different nations surrounding me in Joplin. The Chiefs, the Rams and the Cowboys all have large forces in this area, and these forces do not take kindly to lone soldiers of opposing armies. Not one to back down in any situation I have always displayed the colors of my country in the face of this adversity and let everyone know where my loyalties lie. My struggle has been hard but it has not been in vain. I have discovered small pockets of fellow soldiers here and there and have actually been able to win over a citizen to my cause. One convert may not sound like much but each new soldier adds more strength to our fight. Though far from the homeland we scan the wavelengths for any and all information about our fellow soldiers. With pride we cheer as we crush the forces of the Browns and the Ravens. In dismay we watch our armies get pushed back by the Patriots and Jaguars. Though the war season is long and tiring we both don our Black and Gold uniforms with pride and face each Sunday battle with determination and hope because we fight for the greatest country in the NFL, the country of the Pittsburgh Steelers!
