This was for a challenge on another msg board. I wrote my journaling in letter form as if it were my youngest ds writing the letter, you can see the journaling opened up in the right scan. I also altered the photos in Photoshop to give them a blue tint. I wanted the mood of the LO to reflect the photos. I also printed them on cardstock because they were "less than perfect". I made the folder myself using a regular office folder as a guide. The scan on the right is the journaling opened. TFL!

My dh said this is one ds is gonna kill me for when he's older. *hee hee*

Journaling reads:

Dear Management (ie. Mommy and Daddy),

It has come to my attention that the working conditions in this establishment are unfair and most inhumane. My examples of these horrid conditions follow:

1. Your preferential treatment of taller and older individuals. I have noticed that older and taller individuals (ie. Connor) are granted certain liberties that I am not afforded. Such as being allowed to go in the backyard alone, drinking soda from a cup without a lid, sitting at a table without any type of restraining device, and being able to use real metal silverware. Just because I am under 3 feet tall and not yet 2 years old does not mean that I can’t do these things. I am appalled at this clear demonstration of prejudice.

2. The fact that I am the only individual in this establishment that is forced to wear a diaper. I have noticed that no one else wears diapers. True, I am content to play in the toilet and flush it repeatedly , rather than sit on it, but I have no clue what connection the diaper wearing and toilet sitting have to one another. Either way, it is most unfair and inhumane.

3. I am not allowed to walk by myself anywhere without being forced to hold someone’s hand. I have also noticed that the walking I am allowed is minimal and that the requirement of riding in a stroller or shopping chart is very limiting in my explorations.

4. The stealing of my precious belongings. I have certain items that I prize above all others (ie. Binky and Blankie) and have noticed that they are being stolen from me. Regardless if they are being laundered or cleaned at the time of this abduction, I do not understand why I am not asked before their removal. Yes, I would not allow the removal, even if asked, but I digress.

In summation, these points that I have listed above clearly illustrate my dissatisfaction with the practices of this establishment. I trust that they will be remedied soon, as I may be forced to find employment elsewhere.

Sincerely,

Jackson J. Graham
