You did an amazing job with the Stickles, Which canon printer is that? I love the design and the journaling and I don't have enough space to say all the things i want to say about this LO! Beautiful, Fav!
I've been working on and off on this LO since Christmas!
Christmas gifts recycled: I got very creative with a gift I received from my cousins, Ann and Matt, who live in Ohio. They put together a basket of goodies - Hobby Lobby giftcard, fleece throw, Aromatherapy socks, and all through the basket were Christmas decor items. So, I dissected the basket and used lots of those decor pieces in this LO! The Hohoho ornament, poinsettia, ribbon, gold balls, and the piece of conifer tree came from that basket. And the fluer de lis came on a present my mom received from a coworker!
Journaling reads: "What a great, but busy, Christmas! Christmas 2008 was quite different than those in the past. Instead of the usual three people, we entertained seven! Justin was in town, and the Hamilton family also joined us. On Christmas Eve, we participated in our usual traditions: dinner at O'Dowd's Little Dublin, candlelight service at church, and yum!...Justin and I baked and decorated two batches of holiday cookies. On Christmas Day, my mom and I cooked a feast for seven with my favorite side dish, green rice!
And how did presents for seven people fit underneath the tree? They didn't. Nearly half of the presents sat on the floor in the general vacinity of the tree! My favorite gift was a Canon photo printer from Justin. (The proof is on this page!)"
I used 'St. Nicholas' font I downloaded free from dafont.com in the journaling.
And FYI, this was my first time using Stickles. I really didn't know what I was doing, so please don't yell at me.
I apologize the picture of the LO is not crystal clear - I'm resorting back to an icky old Kodak digital camera since the camera I was borrowing is back with its owner :-(
