Great idea! I know what you mean about nerve wracking. I've done a "dry run" of what I'm going to stamp, then lay that under the layout on a light table, to serve as a guide for the actual final placement. But this would be so much easier. Now I have to get over the nerve wracking feeling I get when I think of trimming the stamps.....
LOL that's hilarious. I was so excited when I got mine, I guess I didn't stop to think about the fact that I couldn't see what I was doing, I just started stamping my foolish heart out.
Think I will have to give this a try :) I usually lay my head down on the table when using them to "try" to get them straight, HAHA! :) Thanks for sharing this neat idea :)
I have amassed a wonderful collection of foam stamps but haven't used them since I couldn't see what I was doing! Too nerve wracking.
So I cut away the borders of the stamps using a small cutter (pictured) and used them right away. Sooo much better. I can now see exactly what I'm doing.
