I created the layout because my husband wanted our son's hosptial hat saved and kept safe. He fell in love with this hat! I cut a baby face out of a paper plate (used at my baby shower) and placed the hat on it, fastened with brads and baby pins) On the 2nd page, I used 2 pictures of Jack wearing his hat on the day he was born (one with daddy) and did some journaling about why this hat holds a special place in his baby book.
