Hidden Journaling:

It is very hard for someone to admit that they are afraid of anything for it is admitting that they have a weakness. This is especially true of me. I admitted to a very peculiar fear of mine just this past summer. We had gone to a zoo called Wilderness Safari in Gentry, AR that was both a walk thru & a drive thru zoo. It was a beautiful July day so we spent the first part of out visit in the walk-thru section, which included several enclosed petting areas where many tame animals were wandering freely about. Visitors were allowed to feed and enjoy all these animals up close. There were ducks, geese, chickens, peacocks, pigs and even kangaroos! There were also many different types of goats…..which is where my phobia lies. Yes, I know, a fear of goats you say? Have you ever looked at their eyes though? They have an almost hourglass shape to them which to me is just plain disturbing. They also seem to want to get right up on you and follow you around so that no matter where you turn you are faced with a goat. I may look all calm and collected in these pictures but in actuality my skin was crawling and I could just imagine a goat sneak attack at any second. When our zoo trip was done I broke down and told Andrea about my goat-phobia. When she stopped laughing she did hug me and promise that she would never let the little goats get me.
