This LO is all about the wonderful roses Justin sent to me through 1-800flowers.com! They were for my birthday on January 22nd, and I'm designing this LO with Valentine's papers, appropriate for the red roses theme.

Journaling reads: (it runs across the bottom of the red cardstock page)
" *Someone special sent me two dozen roses for my 23rd birthday on January 22, 2009!!! With my new camera, I captured these photos! * Scrapbooked 2/2/2009"

The stitched flower took forever! In fact, I stitched it during the entire Superbowl. I used a flower from the font 'LPFlowers2' I downloaded free from dafont.com. I printed it and cut it out to use as a template for the stitching.

All the papers are DCWV except for the very back B/W border paper - it's Me & My Big Ideas. The swirls are KI Memories lace cardstock, and I threw in a Colorbok transparency. (I added black ink to the lace cardstock to make it just a little more black.) 'Birthday' is made from American Crafts rub ons, and 'Roses' is made with K&Company glitter stickers. And the buttons are from the button collection I've inherited from my great grandma.

Well, I'm entering my first challenge/contest on SB.com with this LO! I've never done anything with the challenges and contests, but I'm giving it a shot now. This is for Esteelynn's Valentine's Day Challenge!
