This is my version of the March Album in a Year project from Amanda Probst's columns in the 2008 issues of CK Magazine. I'm doing the project for 2009. You can see Amanda's versions for '07 & '08 on her blog at http://amandaprobst.squarespace.com/. You can see my other finished LO's for this project in my gallery in my 2009 Album and my Month LO's album: January - I Predict; February - 10 Things I LOVE this Month.

As Luck would have it... 7 lucky things that happened in March
*It was lucky that we discovered a leak from the old faucet in the kitchen because I got to pick out this beautiful new one.
*I was lucky that Archiver's offered a Beginning Stamping Basics class because I already started buying stamps and had so much fun learning ways to use them and about all the different inks.
*I was lucky that Larissa hosted another 48 hour scrapbooking weekend in Indiana, and that Karen and I could both go. But mostly I am lucky that Karen has been my best friend for the last 27 years.
*I was lucky to get my first pedicure of the year -- yay for Spring!
*I was lucky to surprise my dad when he didn't know I was in town for a haircut by stopping in at R Place for a few cocktails with him and his friends.
*I was lucky to be the winning bidder on this gorgeous oil painting in the silent auction at East Lake's Gala.
*I was lucky to have a dog who always wants to keep me company.

This LO is for the Sunshine and Rainbows Challenge -- 4 & 5 of 7. I put little sun icons covered in Glossy Accents between the items in the list on both pages, and there is a rainbow-colored strip alongside the pics on both pages as well. The left page has a flocked sticker of a pot of gold that says 'pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.' The right page has a large sun printed on the cs behind the subtitle. For the twists: on the left page I used gold Stickles on the gold in the pot, covered the star in the title with red Stickles, and used a strip of ruffled metallic braid for bling. On the right page, I used 2 twists -- a bird and bling: I covered the center of the flower in yellow Stickles, used a March birthstone brad on the folded corner, and used a glittery bird sticker.

TFL!

BTW, that is not my handwriting!! I'm not that neat -- I wrote my journaling in MS Word, cut the pp in 8x12 and 4x12 pieces, formatted the pages in Word to those sizes, used the font Air Conditioner, and loaded the pp in my printer. The titles were downloaded from Amanda Probst as pdf files. I printed the main title on the green pp, painted the word luck w/ acrylic paint, and covered the star in Stickles. The subtitle wouldn't print right on my cs for some reason so I held a copy of it up to the window so I could see through the cs to trace it w/ a black Zig marker.
