Bill and I were in an antique mall in Clearwater and he found a statue/fountain of 4 dolphins for a good price because the antique mall was closing.
He called his sister in Miami who collects dolphin things (see her shirt with dolphins) and asked if she wanted it to put by her pool because it spits water from all 4 dolphin's mouths into a pool.
She checked on line and found the same fountain on several sites and they were all $5,000-$6,000 so she was thrilled and told us to get it. She saved about two-thirds of the price, maybe more.
When we got home we put the fountain by our pool for a couple weeks but I told Bill we had to deliver it to his sister NOW because we were getting attached and it wasn't ours. So, we met his sister in Palm Beach where their cousin lives so she could take the statue/fountain home to Miami.
The upper left left picture shows the dolphin statue on the back of her pick-up truck.
The middle picture is Bill with some kind of antique carts - his cousin had several and gave Bill one.
The bottom two pictures are turtle nests. The left one was taken at the beach behind The Breakers (it had already been marked with caution tape) and the one on the right was taken the next morning on Palm Beach. The sun was just coming up and you can see the trail where the mother turtle came out of the water and dug the nest and her trail back. The nest wasn't even market yet with the caution tape, although I'm sure that within an hour or so it was.
