These pages are great - I love how well they all go together without being the same - you really did a nice job! I knew I was going to get some good ideas!
This is a LO about a trip that we took last year on our Thanksgiving day celebration. It is the last of four pages (the 1st scrapped). I only knew that I wanted to try a blue and brown color combination. Then, I got interested in distressing techniques.
I wet and crumpled the golden pp and then inked it. The large picture's dark photo mat was crumpled and then wet down. The leaves (top on the side and third) were dipped in wet distress ink on a crafter's mat for a varigated color effect and other pieces were inked with an ink blending applicator. The other leaves on the side are stamped and the leaf in the top left corner is a sticker applied to cs and then chalked. The dot of circles on the pp was made with a template, a pigment marker and heat embossing.
The whole design was inspired by Wjnielson's Sketch #10.
