This is the first LO that I created for my dear friend Erika (you know her here at SB.com as Elombardo19) about her precious boy Ed. These are some of the last photos taken of Ed before Erika took him to the vet for the final time. The smile on her face belies the deep pain and hurt she was already feeling inside. I'm sure she wanted to have one more photo of them together. I did the exact same thing on my dog Lucky's final day.

Erika, thank you for letting me scrap these photos for you. My heart ached with you as I remembered all the things you've shared with me about that day and, most importantly, about Ed's whole life. That is what I celebrate in this page: a friendship! Though this was a tragic day, the journey, the friendship, the memories are all something to celebrate and treasure. You were and are a wonderful dog mom and I know that Ed's life with you meant as much to him as it did to you. Here's to Ed: the amazing, sweet, gentle, and perfect dog. He will never be forgotten.
Big hugs to you,
Karen

p.s. I left room for you to journal anything you'd like to say.
