Before my niece Scarlett was born my brother Scot came up with the idea for a family quilt to be made for her. He asked everyone in the family to design an individual block for the quilt so that Scarlett would have a little piece of the different parts that make up her family. For our part I designed the block around the “100% Original” theme so Scarlett would know she's one of a kind while David composed an inspirational letter about her and the special part she will play on this Earth.
