Your writing is always so moving -- this is a beautiful LO! I love the pp's you chose and that half circle. I hope you get a chance to get together with them again soon!

What a sweet and special page, Karen. Beautiful photo of all three ladies. I believe I worked with Sharon at a company here in Salem, YEARS ago. Her last name escapes right now, but she looks soooo familiar. Anyway, love the design, papers and colors. Such a gift from your heart!

The Three Musketeers...if you see one, the other two aren't far behind...The Giggle Girls...three peas in a pod. These are just some of the expressions used to describe three of my favorite friends, Pam, Sharon, and Linda. Pam and Linda are sisters and they seem quite willing to share their pal Sharon (in the middle).
I've been so inspired by the Jesus Girlz Faithbooking Challenge this month to scrap about friendship! I didn't know where to start. But, when I came across this photo of my three precious friends, I knew I wanted to do this LO first.
I met these lovely ladies at church. Pam, Linda, and I all sang on the worship team together and Sharon's husband was one of our sound guys. She was also such a great encouragement to all of us. When Linda's husband Ron was diagnosed with terminal cancer, it was our privilege to support them and walk that journey with them. At his funeral, we sang worship songs that Ron had chosen as he anticipated his home-going. I can still see Linda sitting in the front row of the church singing along, "Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be your glorious name. You give and take and away, my heart will CHOOSE to say, Lord blessed be Your name." In her great sorrow and grief, I knew that Linda believed those words with all of her broken heart. Pam and Sharon were pillars of strength for Linda in the weeks to come and their friendship only deepened.
How I missed them and my other friends when I moved far away to care for my elderly parents! I missed our Saturday rehearsals, the great conversations, the laughter, the worship services on Sunday. I thought I would never have the opportunity to sing with them again. But, this photo was taken in Nov. 2007 when my BFF Donna brought a whole team of our musical friends down to N. Calif. to lead worship at the dedication of my cousin's little church. We had the most wonderful time together doing what we love and I didn't want to let them go back home! We even had a night of singing and worship with my family and friends at my brother and SIL's house. More precious memories to cherish until next time.
The verse I chose is I John 4:7 - "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God." My three friends Pam, Sharon, and Linda are beautiful representatives of God's love - to each other, to their families, to the church, and to me. I love them so!
(I used one of Beggahuna's fabulous sketches for my design inspiration.)
