LO of my "then" scrap space and my "now" scrap space. I can't even believe my pics of my "then" space...figure if my now-hubby and I can survive thru that catastrophe, we can survive thru anything!

Seriously though, I did this for the Oct. '09 Fill in the Blank Challenge. I chose to use "_____. I can work with that."...you'll find it in the journaling.

Journaling by the "then" photo: For 2 years, this was my scrapping space. I overtook the living room with a card table in the corner by the t.v. (my storage space was under the table). When my hobby (& my stuff) grew, I began occupying the coffee table, a t.v. tray, and sometimes the couch behind me. In our small 2 bedroom apartment, this was a lot of space. Gotta *heart* my now-husband for putting up with me!

Journaling by the "now" photo: When we moved from that small apartment, I knew we just had to have 3 bedrooms. This would give ample space for my scrapping and both of our computers. This was what I got as a result of our endless house hung! I decided, "Space! I can work with that!", and we snatched up this rental as fast as we could! - June 2008

(the date is when we moved to this house, not when i did the lo...just for clarity)

I matted the photos on white cs, then a large piece of black cs. The chipboard letters are thickers that I painted and sealed with glossy varnish. I added them in the frame of the black cs. I stamped the swirls. The pink flowers are primas; I sewed french knots in the middle of them. The edge of the pink cs is stickled with black stickles. Then the scalloped circle was layered on top of black with white polka dot pp.
