My little one last week @ 7 months old. My first time using purple on a page. I'm so used to using more traditional boy colors. I thought the orange die cut was a little too bold on its own, so I layered in the BG pp to break up some of the orange. I hand cut the circles, tracing a pot lid. Good old-fashioned scrapping! The vertical strip of green leaf paper is from a new Autumn line by Creative Imaginations.

The oval tag and the scallop circles are punches. I just added some doodles with a Signo. The purple ribbon is the totally fab Bo Bunny double dot, double-sided heavy ribbon. The SuperStore has it in lots of colors. Highly recommended! It's one of my favorite discoveries. The mini bouquet is Making Memories vintage findings. I just took out the pink flowers and added in some deep purple (found in the bridal section of a craft store) so it matched the layout better.

This is way busier than what I normally make. My mom will hate it, lol. She's the one who introduced me to scrapping earlier this year and is very old-fashioned in her scrapping opinions, but she says it in such a nice way: “Well…..it's awfully bright….but the photo's nice.” Or, "Well, honey, that's a sweet picture of the baby, but I would have never thought to scrap it like *that*." I'm tough-skinned now, so bring on the suggestions! I appreciate your feedback.
