Great job documenting this. :0) I think you did it really well! I really like the design. Poor thing, you have been through a lot!! So glad it's over! Hope you can pick the little one up again :0)
Wow!! fabulous, I think it is reallly important you scrapped this, not only for yourself but for others, welcome the new Heather and love the layout, you have really put a lot of thought into the design and it works beautifully, love it, well done.
Oh, Heather, I got goosebumps reading your story. I admire you for your strength and courage. Surgery is always so scary. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Glad you are feeling better, my friend! Hang in there! :)
oh good for you, so glad that you documented this!! I had a friend who had the same thing done for the same reasons...she is so much happier and healthier! Good going girly!!! You'll be better soon enough, you know it just takes time!!!
I am so glad you did a page about this!!! And so happy you are feeling better!! {hugs}! I love the design (good that you can atleast digi scrap). The journaling is wonderful.
I debated posting this one, but since there's no blood or naked pics, I guess it's okay. LOL I recently had a breast reduction to help with extreme back pain. It was deemed medically necessary because of the damage to my back. So I went ahead with it. Being a scrapbooker, of course I had to document it. I did so with a class layout from the Type+Writer 2 from Jessica Sprague.
Journaling:
Wednesday: I've wanted breast reduction surgery since I was sixteen years old. Finally, the day came! I was terrified, but so excited. Mom and Ronnie waited for me to come out.
Thursday: I spent the night in the hospital after the surgery. It was painful, but worth it. When I got released, Mom brought me to my follow up appointment, then home.
Friday: The next day I was in a lot of pain, but glad to be home. I had to sleep sitting up in the recliner because of the swelling. I can't believe how much smaller my chest is!
Saturday: Brandon has been angry with me because I can't pick him up lately. Usually, I'm the one cuddling and wrestling him. I feel so bad about it!
Sunday: I took a photo of the box of bandaging materials Mom got me. I didn't realize the surgery would be this much work! Ronnie has been helping me change them.
Monday: I finally felt good enough to sit up and check email. I made myself a little nest in my desk chair with pillows, and Germ-X close by.
Tuesday: Aunt Laura took me for my follow up appointment and the surgeon removed the drain tubes. OUCH! Then Laura bought me my first new bra. She rocks!
