Another lo from my high school science trip. This lo looks better IRL because "Redwoods" is slightly elevated, giving it a 3-D look. And the suttle "Joy of Discovery" rub on in the group pic ties into the "discover" definition sticker.
This is one of my favorite places in the whole world. It is so beautiful. I hope you get a sense of that from the lo.
Thanks for looking--Karen
Journaling: By far, Muir Woods was my favorite stop on the entire trip. It was the most peaceful and serene place I had ever been. The massive redwoods left us all awestruck. However, the memory I keep close to my heart when I think of Muir Woods is not the magnificent trees, but how a magnificent friendship grew closer together. In the midst of nature’s true beauty, Tiffany and I reflected on life and the principles of the gospel. Our conversation that evening was beyond our two 17-year-old minds and I will cherish that experience forever.
