I was gifted some treasured/beautiful heritage pictures of my grandmother that I am looking to scrap and was browsing the gallery...this made my jaw drop. Thank you for the inspiration!
OKAY! OMG! This....is being lifted as we speak. You know how I love all that rough meets lace, vintage, tattered LOOK! Ewwwww....This is totally beautiful.
Love the doily lace punch edge through out. Wonder if the droopy drawers have such lace? LOL Another fabulous heritage page. Really like the blue/brown on this one. The card board is an awesome touch!
Adore the photo! Too cute how they are holding out the bottom of their dresses. Are they going to take a bow or love to twirl (that would be me, my dh teases me)? It's fun to imagine!
This photo is absolutely precious! I ADORE it!!! Just love how you designed this page...all the pps and even the cardboard look amazing. You truly created a vintage masterpiece!!! (I believe MME has a challenge on their blog right now. Maybe you should check it out!) Best of luck with the Scraplifty 101...bet you'll win!!!
I have no idea where this was taken or even if it was in this country (USA). I know it was around 1929 or 1930. It is my Mom (the one with her head down) and her mom and sisters. Don't you love the little ones droopy drawers. I did this for the Scraplift 101 challenge. I lifted the Amore layout by Each Moment Only Once. The pps and some embellies are from a line by My Minds Eye called Life Stories...lovely muted colors on kraft paper. I cut the floral pp from a homemade template. The pearls are by ZVA..the flowers by Prima as is the heart stamp. Lace punch by Martha Stewart and cardboard from the recycle bin.
