Oh, you are so lucky to have such a picture and you have displayed it beautifully. Love, love, love the map behind it and that the picture is large and the focal point of the lo. Bravo.
Love this!!! Love to see old photos of horses back in the day. And people also. That is so cool you were able to save all those photos and no suggestions from me. This lo is perfect!!
I think this is fabulous! It's easy to see all the love and thought that went in to creating it. A treasure for your family....generations to come. A fave for me too!
You did a great job girl!! I know what you mean about wanting to do your family heritage justice! I struggled with that also..and I am proud of my heritage albums now. You family will treasure your work for years to come!

Fantastic job on this beautiful heritage page, Vickie! I am loving all the details, that great map (I loooove to look things up on Google, just ask my kids!) the distressing, everything! I know what you mean about wanting to do justice to the photos, and you have certainly showcased this wonderful photo to full advantage!!!
This is a fabulous layout! The map of Chicago that you found and used as background is a stroke of genius, especially how you distressed and aged it. Keep going on the heritage photos. You're doing a fantastic job, and I totally understand what you mean about wanting to do them justice.
Chicago, Illinois. This photo was taken sometime in the early 1920's. My grandfather, Natale, delivered goods for the T.V. Sullivan & Co. He is the gentleman pictured on the left with the pipe. I found the map of Chicago on the internet (circa 1920) and it shows Randolph Street, where the business was located and the area my Grandfather covered when making deliveries. I really struggled with the heritage lo. These old family photos are so important to me - I wanted everything to be perfect. I did a little inking, stamping and distressing. Journaling is a pull out (tabbed at the top of the page). Thanks for looking - any and all suggestions are always greatly appreciated.
