OMG! I had no idea it was such an involved and apparently organized process. Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking this on. And thanks to Patty for her help with the swapping, too!
Patty helping me swap out the handmade embellishments and journal tags. The table at the far end was for journal tags, the two in the foreground are all embellishments. Each person had their own basket and name tag.
First, we went through and counted all the embellies. Then we took out all the reserved items and put them in a giant bowl. Then we went back and adjusted the number of items the person would receive back (original minus the reserved items they got). THEN we started with libertyinmylife...we went through and picked out a few dozen items based on her tastes. We did that for every swapper. Then we recounted to make sure everyone got their number of sent items back. Finally I packaged them all up.
I still have a few people's packages to add to and I have to label and tape up all the envies and boxes. It was a VERY long process.
