Absolutely scrumptious! I love the beachy feel to this page. That was a great idea to use Glossy Accents to attach the sand. I am so going to try that. Great design. Love all the layers. Isn't Coronado the prettiest place? I love San Diego and so want to go back.
Just stunning, love the way the fence is dropping away...I'm going to San Diego in 2 months, any tips on what not to miss and where not to go?....love this page, the softness of it and all the little special touches makes it beautiful.
Oh, this is so beautiful, Lisa! You've captured the feel of the ocean/beach perfectly. Love the techniques you used, particularly the embossed piece behind Cassie's photo. Fave.
This is absolutely beautiful! I can tell that the photo is wonderful! I love all the pastel "beachy" feeling blues on this! That tag with the title is gorgeous, and I love the way you tore and bent pieces of the paper you used!
IRL you can see Cassie's face better - the photo of the photo didn't come out that well. This is another LO from the beach on Coronado from our San Diego vacation in 2007.
This is for: 1. April Color Challenge - Pastels.
2. April Use Your Supplies Week 2 ~ Blue. I used at least 4 shades of blue, and they are all pastel for the twist.
3. April Border Punch Challenge. The striped pp is punched all the way around, and I did the twist to show a punched edge behind a tear in another piece of paper. It's in the upper left.
The chipboard letters were white, but I crackle painted them. The sand was applied with glossy accents. I embossed and then sanded the core'dinations cs for the photo mat.
