Pics from the last day of our San Diego vacation. I'm getting so close to the end of this album -- just a couple odds and ends pages to go!
We spent this day driving around to see the scenery. We started with Ocean Beach -- my shot of the pier was made from 2 shots into a panorama on my computer. The waves don't exactly match up of course since the ocean didn't hold still for me to take the 2 shots ;) but I think it came out nicely. Next, we headed south to the Mexican border. I wasn't really anxious to go to Tijuana, so we didn't take the time but instead drove back north through Silver Strand State Park to Coronado. The bottom 2 shots are looking back across the San Diego Bay from Silver Strand at California and Mexico. The two on the upper right are from the Ferry Landing Pier on Coronado looking up the San Diego Bay -- the city on the right, the ACC's Reagan and Nimitz on the left. The little pic is of Bufflehead Ducks swimming in SD Bay.
This is for the Monthly Sketch Challenge Week 2 w/ the twist to use vacation pictures. I hope I didn't change it too much -- I couldn't make the photos work in a block exactly like the sketch, and I wanted to incorporate a couple ideas from the Passport kit I had. I had to move the title to the middle because it wouldn't show up against the postcard pp; one of my photos in the top row is a panoramic so it takes up more space; and I put one of the bottom ones on a tilt. Also flipped it so the journaling is on the other side.
