Kelly, this is a great layout! Loved how you pulled the elements together. And now I know what to do with my transparency frames! Big question--how did your father respond? And what did your mother say? I'd also like to thank you for commenting on my cards but I don't know how to do that other than through this. Sorry.

Kelly, you did such an awesome LO for your handsome father. Your creativity with the multiple frames is wonderful and really causes the picture to pop off the page! BEAUTIFUL WORK, Kelly! LOVE IT! So sorry to hear that he has Alzheimers. That must be heartbreaking and very difficult for you and your entire family...God bless you all.

This photo of him is fantastic and it's great that you have such a wonderful picture to remember too! xx
Well Scarlet, I'll be d@mned if he doesn't resemble Clark Gable! I hope your page is the success with your dad that I am certain it will be here. Such a marvelous use of color and design! It is so terribly cruel the way Alzheimers takes our loved ones away from us while taunting us with their physical presence. I'm so sorry Kelly.
Kelly! This is so wonderful. What a warm and touching layout. I am very sorry that your dad has Alzheimer's. I will keep all of your in my prayers. I love your layout and photo, and I especially love his big hair! LOL!

This is such an elegant classy layout of your dad. Very handsome man he was. Amazing job with it...I just scrapped my favorite pic of my mom when she was young...it's my new found love...scrapping those wonderful heritage pics. I love this layout!! I hope he loves it just as much....
Kelly....wow ! Your dad was a very handsome man ! I am sure he will love this fantastic page ! You did an amaizing job, LOVE the photo, all those frames and great masculine pps !
oh my what a handsome man. love this wonderful lo you have created. i am sure your family will be amazed when you show it at the 50th anniversary party. i am sorry to learn that your father has alzheimer's. hopefully this beautiful lo will stir up some fond memories for him.
This is my father's favourite photo of himself. He kept it on his dresser for years saying, "Don't I look like Clark Gable?" When I found it a few weeks ago, I decided to create this lo and display it at my parents' 50th wedding anniversary party this summer. He was quite the adventurer, leaving the family farm behind in Saskatchewan, then becoming a successful entrepreneur/businessman in the big city. I haven't shown him this page, yet. He has Alzheimer's now and I'm not sure how he will respond. I really like how the page turned out, but I feel sad when I look at it. The pps are Graphic45 and 7Gypsies, brads are SEI, and the transparency frames are Teresa Collins. I printed the W monogram onto patterned pp with my computer. Thanks so much for looking!!
