dd is constantly suprising me- I had to scrap this moment.

The journaling reads: One night as I was tucking you into bed you whispered in my ear, “ I wish all your dreams come true Mommy, I love you so much.”

Of course I teared up and responded that I loved you too and wondered where you had heard such a thing.

After turning out the light and closing the door, I started to think about what my dreams were and I discovered that most of my dreams are for you.

I dream that you will be safe on the street and playing in the yard. I dream that you will never have your heart broken, that you will not know betrayal from someone you trusted. I dream that you will not have to experience great sorrow to know great strength. I dream that you will be fair and open minded and willing to stand up for your convictions.

I dream of a bright and happy future for you. In many ways my dear girl you are my dreams.
