There are so many great elements, Love the flags, love the compass and how you masked it, love the cute dog photos, love love the background paper and how it mirrors the pier. WOW
Great LO! Such a little cutie! Love the paper you used, the banner and the great flowers. This is the 1st time I have even seen the doodling templates you used. What a great resource. Must add to my wish list!
This is completely adorable! I love your banner in the corner of the layout and how the weathered-wood looking background paper mimics the pier in the photos. And those photos are super-cute!
Lisa so many cool elements here! That banner is so cute, and I love the compass mask in the corner, even the font for the title is neat, looks painted on!
I LOVE that you take the time to source your project products! I should start doing that more better than I do. This page is precious, Lisa. I love your little banner in the corner! I think you did a great job creating your handmade flower! Those are so fun! Gotta be careful what print work you use though. I did some from an old book that wasn't QUITE g-rated. I had to go back and do them again. Got some ... interesting ... words in some prominate places. :-O
Abby was 5 months old here in July 2007. The caption says: Abigail watching us swim and enjoying the sights from the pier. {July 7}
For: 1. June Monthly Sketch - Week 1. I did the twist to use summer photos -- we spend a lot of time in the summer on our pier at the lake.
2. Use Your Supplies Week 1 ~ Patterned Paper. We had to use at least 4 different pp's with a twist to use from at least 2 different manufacturers. Here, the bg pp is Paper Studio, and I used 4 different We R Memory Keepers patterns. The journaling piece is Making Memories and is over 6 month's old.
3. Pet.
4. VLB -- Masking. I masked the compass rose in the upper right.
I made the bracket with a Crafter's Workshop template as a guide, then distressed and inked the edges. I masked the compass rose with Walnut Stain then painted a swath of white to help the title stand out. The two large flowers were in a RAK from and made by ~{Puppet}~. Thanks Krista! The smaller blue flower was made by me in an attempt to imitate hers. I made the pennants with pp, some scrap string from a clothing tag, and brads.
