These were about to be recycled at my work so I grabbed some and I glued a different colored jewel to the outside of each one. I store brads, eyelets, jewels, embroidery thread, etc. in them and so if I need a green embellishment I just open up the canister with the green jewel and look for misc. supplies in the shade of green that works for my LO. This way I'm not digging through a box of buttons, then a box of brads, etc. This has been so helpful! I do however use a large tupperware for my blacks, whites, and browns/earth tones.
