This is me when I was pregnant with my daughter. This is a redo of a page I had done when I first started scrapbooking. The last one was so unbalanced and looked terrible. I got crop happy on the photos. :smile:

I like this one better. It's simple and neutral. Love the Wild Asparagus pp.

The journaling reads:

I began preparing my nest for you (just like a momma bird does for her babies) by gathering up “just the right” fabrics and textures to make a comfy and warm place that my little one could call home. I had so much fun doing it too!
When it came to decorating your nursery, I couldn’t find the “perfect” window treatments to go with your bedding ensemble so I decided to make them myself. I chose to make lavender tab-top panels and matching sheers that draped over the panels to form ice cream scoops. Mind you, this was my first time making curtains so of course I was nervous. After I had bought all the material and actually started to work on them I began to feel like I had taken on more than I could handle. I stayed persistent on getting them done though and prayed the whole time that God would bless the work of my hands. He did just that. They turned out beautiful. :smile:
The same thing happened with your lamp. I couldn’t find one that I liked so I frilled up a plain ole white lampshade with lavender beaded trim and lil’ dragonfly embellishments.
Your daddy and I share so many wonderful memories from this special time in our lives. I will always look back on them and smile because they were filled with love, laughter, and humorous confusion (example: putting your crib together and finding that we had put something on backwards). Most of the work Daddy and I did together was late at night because he worked during the day. We weren’t the only ones up that late – you seemed most active inside my belly during those late hours/early mornings and I remember you kicking me something fierce while painting with Daddy. :smile: Ahhhh…..Memories.

TFL =)
