oh I love the words on the bottom photo - isn't that just too true when taking pets of little children and pets - I may have to borrow that! Gorgeous colour work here and love the stitching. Great job with your title!
awww...she's so cute and tiny! love the mirror idea..I was just thinking of those words the other day when my dog was riding with his head hanging out the car window, wonderin if I could get some good pics to scrap!great colours and I love the stitched edge!
Ohhh....she is just the cutest! :o) Love the colors on this page and the car theme with the writing on the mirror is so clever. I always love seeing that little Abby, Lisa!
The top pic I left zoomed out instead of cropping in because I wanted to keep a sense of scale to show how small she was -- she weighed 1.5 pounds at that point, and you can see she was shorter than a stair.
The bottom pic is a blur - but that's why I like it. Every time I tried to get a shot of her across the room, she'd come running at me, and I'd end up with just ears or nose or something in the pic. It reminded me of the scene in Jurassic Park where the t-rex is shown in the car side mirror -- so I used my Cricut to cut the letters to make my own 'mirror.'
In keeping with the car theme, I made my title block like a road sign. I used two different letter sticker fonts for the words, cut the dog silhouette with my Cricut, doodled the black border, and mounted it on foam tape.
For the VLB challenge to use stitching, I machine stitched the outer black border of the LO.
