This is for the Scraplift the Person Before You Challenge and also for the no PP Challenge.

This was different for me, the colors aren't what I normally go for. But I really like how it turned out. The journaling is readable in real life but you can't see it well on the photo. It reads:

Playing on the rocks by the Monet Bridge at Thanksgiving Point. We went with a pregnant Aunt Jen and a very toddley Cozy. We did the whole gardens and took lots of pictures. It was a perfect early spring day. April 2010

The journaling square I scored and then sanded. I also sanded the edges of the pictures. The flowers are primas that are folded in to wedges and the mesh I felt added some visual interest for a no PP page. The title part is stamped on torn paper and then I used pens to go around the edges to make it stand out a bit more.
