Tahiti - Leaving Paradise

Much Too Soon….
It's Time to Leave The Beautiful Island that is Tahiti.

Across the street from the dock where the Sapphire Princess was waiting for us we had time to make one last stop. We couldn't resist making a quick trip into the huge indoor market (Below left). Fruits, vegetables, meats, Tahitian souvenirs, t-shirts, muumuus; anything you want – you can find it here. We noticed one area with shelves lined with fresh flower arrangements and Bill decided to spoil me a little. Okay, a lot.

He bought me a beautiful flower arrangement featuring the most color intense Bird of Paradise I've ever seen. The orange was so vibrant it was actually red! I was quite pleased that we were allowed to take it on the ship with it with no problem at all. I know we had the prettiest cabin on the ship with that beautiful arrangement on the desk/dresser reflecting in the corner mirrors next to it and behind it! It even reflected in the mirrors on the opposite wall over our bed!

After a quick run through the buffet line for me and a couple slices of pizza for Bill, and pina coladas for both of us, we watched from the deck as the sun was going down and it was time to leave this tropical paradise. Directly below is the spectacular show the sky put on as the sun ducked behind the clouds and out of sight for the night.
