a timeless fantastic lo. the colors, flowers and pp are perfect and of course the story is priceless. A charming/fun piece of your DH's family story beautifully preserved. TFS.
Are you kidding me ... this is sooooo P*L*E*A*S*I*N*G to look at Michelle! Those flowers are unbelievable and the little girl in the front row with her legs crossed is sooooo adorable!
Ok, so first off there is the amazing colour combo - I LOVE the aqua and peach together - then there is all that fussy-cutting - the patience required!! and the doodling, the distressing, the flowers, the inking, all the beautiful little details! I imagine this is even more "gorgeouser" irl!!! Beautiful, beautiful, LO and a fun memory to go with it! this is everything a scrapbook page should be!
Oh wow! I absoluely love this page! It is very whimsical and just beautiful! I really like how you "copped out" and used the title from the pp's! It is perfect here! What a great story, too!!!!!
OMGOSH, Michelle...this page is heavenly, simply BEAUTIFUL!!! This has to be one of my all-time faves of yours...WOWOWOWOW! I'm in LOVE with your flowers and fairies....the ones you made are GORGEOUS and match the G45 pp flowers perfectly! They frame this amazing heritage photo (yeah, tell Rob I'm calling him HERITAGE! lol!) with loveliness :) Your cutwork is incredible (can I send you my pps to cut??) Your choice of blue bg is FANTASTIC, and I really like the subtle edge and crinkled corner. This fairy page is fluttering into my FAVES!!!
I think the title works perfectly for the subject and what an interesting story...lol! Your flowers are just gorgeous and the cutwork is fabulous. I love the teal bg pp's they really work beautifully with the G45's. Gorgeous work Michelle and the photo is priceless!
Oh Michelle this is beautiful!! Love the storybook behind the picture, and the design is flawless, HUGE fave and I might have to lift this one!!!!!!! Funny story too, tfs!
Ok ...so I couldn't come up with a title for this and copped out and use the name that came with the pps LOL. This is a pic of my hubby and most of his siblings . He's the boy to the left next to all the flowers. There's a family joke that an older sister , Linda is adopted cuz she's not in this picture...the photographer's daughter is instead { she's the little brunette in the middle}. No one can remember where Lindia was on the day this pic was taken but they always point to the little brunette, Alicia, and say "She's our REAL sister! " haha. I have a cute photo of them sitting on a veranda in the same position that was taken a few years ago at their parents' 50 th anniversary party. { we let Lindia sit in on that photo haha} I plan to do a then and now LO with that too. I made the larger flowers with plain cs that I inked , using colours in the G45 pps.{ Gabi inspired} I tried to mimic the smaller flowers that I fussy cut from the pps. I also cut a few extras of the small flowers and layered them to give a 3D effect. The wings of all the fairies were painted over with perfect pearls and water to give them a shimmer tho it doesn't show well on this photo. The tag under the flowers just tells who is who and a bit about the story of the "adopted daughter." TFL!
