Thanks! I really had fun with this one.
By the way, I just came across a fantastic selection of 9-11 photos if anyone's interested:

Beautiful. I too was pregnant on 9/11 although I didn't find out until the next week. 9/11 is also my birthday. I have been trying to think of how I wanted to scrap 9/11. What a great page!
God Bless you, and God Bless America. I was pregnant on September 11, and highly emotional. We live in Northern Virginia, very close to the Pentagon, and the atmosphere around here was not one of being scared, but rather of pulling together (like as in the rest of the country). I took some friends over to donate blood that night, and if I had been a scrapper then, I would have cried if I didn't have my camera, the line to donate was so very, very long. Driving around there were flags everywhere, and people having candlelight vigils outside with their neighbors. I cried all day. I don't know if it was the hormones, or the fact that my dad and husband were so affected (my dad was supposed to fly to LA that day, and we didn't know what flight he was on - luckily his didn't even take off; and my husband, who works for a govt. contract company office began working 24-7, but I kept thinking, this is the world I am bringing my baby into. I thank God I am an American, and that I live in a free land where my baby can grow up to be whatever he wants, with such a loyal, brave and supportive environment. 9-11 showed us that, for sure, there is a lot wrong with this world, but there is also a lot right. Your page has inspired me, since that time was such a big part of my pregnancy with Jack, I am going to make a page in his album about it, a memorial. Thank you so much!
I made this matted flag poem for a patriotic swap in June of 2002. The wavy lines were NOT cut by hand! I used my Creative Memories cutting system. The frames were cut (the hardest part, all one piece and the tool was designed for strips, not boxes), the vellum was printed and glued to the back, the stripes were glued on, white cardstock was Xyroned to the back, and finally I trimmed the edges. Yes, it was a lot of work, but I'm thrilled with the results!
