We stopped at an outdoor Mexican buffet restaurant near Chichen-Itza. The food was okay but nothing special. For entertainment two couples danced between the tables. First they did a very simple Mexican dance. Then they disappeared and then came back with partially full bottles of beer on their heads and did another dance. Then they disappeared for a minute and came back with trays on their heads with half-full glasses and bottles of beer arranged on the trays. None of it was exactly riveting. More strange than anything else.
The van dropped us off at our hotel - we were exhausted and ready for an early bedtime!
