Basic Grey "Be Bold" Contest Entry (2005) Well, here it is... my winning album. Those of you who went to CHA might have seen it on display, but it was really getting "handled" so it was closed up the last couple days. This album was really very cathartic for me. It's been an incredibly difficult year. And yet, still, as hard as it's been, I don't think I've ever felt so loved or blessed either. It is only through the thorns that the Lord allows us to fully appreciate the buds and blossoms in our lives. The "gates" and flowers on each page are set on a transparency that opens to reveal the journaling. The SEI album I used came with a 3-ring binding. But I ripped that out and bound in my own 8x9 chipboard pages, into which I x-acto'd my initials into the outer edge. Thanks for allowing me to share. And THANK YOU SO MUCH to all of you who have sent your congratulations my way. I really, truly appreciate it. I want to say, too, that Basic Grey has been absolutely AMAZING!!! I don't think I have EVER met such a wonderful group before. They are all so dear and after meeting them this past weekend at CHA, I feel like part of the family... as if I've known them forever. THANK YOU BASIC GREY!!
