This page is just AWESOME. I love the way you arranged your photos and all the cool distressing. Do you like the In Stitchz from Bassill? I don't have a sewing machine and want to add some kind of stitching but don't know which one to buy. Love your page.
I love how the photo in the upper left has the dark land line in it, and it breaks up your group of four pics in such a unique way. It is so visually stunning.
Oh what a wonderful fishing layout! I love the greens and the inking in the corner that reminds me of water splashing on the page. Your pictures are so nice and I love the story! I like the overall look of everything!
Pics from July '09 from a fishing outing with some friends. Journaling says: Patrick took Keith and me (and Snowy, of course) out on Duck Lake to troll for Big Mo -- an allegedly huge Northern they have had near misses with in the past. We didn't find him today, and in fact, the only fish we caught was a little snake I snagged when Pat handed me a rod to hold while he was setting up the planers as we were pulling away from the landing. Score one for the girls! July 3, 2009 [The pic of the LO says 'Keith and I' but I fixed the grammar mistake afterwards. Duh. Also, 'snake' is slang for pike.]
This is for the June Monthly Sketch Challenge Week 3, and the VLB Challenge to use journaling blocks.
