Beautiful theme here and your colors and design lend themselves perfectly to it. I love everything about this page. Putting it into my favorites...in fact, I'm gonna put you there, too. Thanks for sharing.
This is such a serene & pretty layout! That particular patterned paper isn't always the easiest to use. However, you worked it perfectly & in the perfect manner in which it was meant to be used! Awesome Job! :)
I heartily agree with Dollscrap that this is a beautiful shot of your lawnmowers but am adding/lawn fertilizers! Admire your other multi-tasking abilities to create beautiful layout, fulfill multiple challenges, also. ;-)
WOW this is gorgeous!! Love the stitching and lace and those big tulips! I agree, the photo of your beautiful horses is very peaceful and definitely gentle! Great Lift - Great LO!
Wow this is just fabulous. What a beautiful shot of your lawnmowers and the layout and pps are so pretty. Love the stitching! Love the wavy/lace border and the punching too.
Pat this is just stunning. Love the subtle way you used the jute and the lace. The plaids look so pretty against the green (that blends with your photo) and the tulips are the perfect touch. And your photo is so peaceful, lovely lo
What a peaceful scene and such a gorgeous lo Pat..it caught my eye straight away and I;m not sure if it's because of the horses or if it's just because your lo is soooo beautiful :)))
Pat this is so peaceful and gentle and very pretty too. Lovely lace and jute stitiching . By cutting that one tulip you made all of them pop. Greens and pinks together with the brown of the horses make for such a soft and fresh feel. Beautiful.
I turn my horses out onto my back yard about once a week to help mow the grass - or at least I did earlier this year before the drought took all the grass and made mowing a chore that doesn't have to be done anymore. Right to left that's Java, Charlie, Chantez, Friday, and Dolce back behind at the water trough.
This is my entry for the following
#1. Round Robin Week 2. I lifted madmatter's Sunshine Day, which you can see here
I had to alter her layout a bit - I didn't have three pictures of a single theme to work from so I switched up to a one photo. I fussy cut one of the tulips and let their stems function as the strips across the bottom, changed up the punches and added a touch or two of my own in the rosebuds and lace.
#2. ABC Challenge JKL - Jute (I used almost three yards of it in the stitchwork around the edges). Kiwi (The base of my patterned paper is the right color. Even though I don't usually work in pink, this was the paper I had, so this was the paper I used.) Lace (There is a little over 1 foot of lace tucked into the border at the top.)
#3. Faithbook Friends - This month's theme was Gentleness. I hadn't really planned to scrap this photo, but the picture of my ponies grazing on the yard in the morning sun is such a quiet and peaceful image, I kept coming back to it and finally realized that it just FELT right. I love how it worked with this paper.
#4. Use Your Supplies Week 4, Stickers & Stitching - Three little sticker butterflies from my stash of WAY back FOREVER ago when I first started scrapping and there are ... I don't know how many ... jute stitches around the border.
