This is a lo I did for a challenge. The challenge was to use the provided photo for inspiration for a lo. The photo instantly reminded me of my grandmother's house, so I decided to mimic/scraplift it and use it for a pic of my grandmother.

The original challenge and photo can be found here: http://www.scrapjazz.com/forums/showtopic.php?tid/310114/

The strips of blue cs and "rusted metal" cs were run through the crimper. I spritzed them lightly first so that the crimping would be deeper and hold a little better. I adhered the strips to the base cs, overlapping the strips slightly. I used a foam brush to dab white paint onto the cs. I decided where to put the pic and cut a hole through the layout and adhered the pic to the back of the layout so that it would appear to be "deeper" in the lo like a recessed window. I altered the frames with ink and paint and then adhered one over the other onto the page. I used wire for the vines, adhering them with Tiny Attacher staples. I used a sizzlits die to cut out the leaves and then scrunched them and used ink, glimmer mist and paint on them to get the look and colors I wanted. I adhered the leaves to the lo with Glue 'Dots. I used self-adhesive chipboard alphas for the title and altered them with green paint. I added 'dots' to the "i"s using bling and outlined it with a black pen. I used the green paint on a gold metal butterfly and adhered it with a glittered brad. For the date, I cut a small piece of the rusted metal cs, inked the edges, and used blingy pearl alphas (altered to create numbers) for the date.
