I took this photo while on vacation in Ireland on an anniversary trip. The view was breathtaking and brought tears to my eyes.
The journaling tag reads, "Ireland - Gazing at this spectacular view from Vico Road, Killiney, Ireland, was like a dream. - September 2007."
I created the stone wall by hand cutting the stones and gluing them onto a mortar background that I drew. Then, I inked each stone and used Distress Crackle Paint, Rock Candy, over the whole thing (in two layers). The bushes were cut on my Cricut with my "Storybook" cartridge; the flowers are stamped and Stickled; and the vine growing down the wall is by Flourish with a Bling.
I created the leaves in the flower arrangement by bending green wire and adding beads to them. This was a prototype, but I decided to use it. In future, I'll use a variety of different green beads and perhaps put them around the whole leaf. (I'll also use tools to perfect the shape.)
The journaling tag and green leaves in the flower arrangement were cut on my Cricut with my "Cricut Essentials" cartridge. The smaller purple ferns were cut using the "Storybook" cartridge.
Thank you to my Mom ("Quick Silver") for the Prima ribbon and crystals.
