There are a lot of seed stores here. And per my previous comment for the Aloha shirt at Hilo Hattie's, that is the kind of shirt I am talking about for Halloween! LOL
Two Upper Photos: There were constantly boxes to be folded and taped to store license plates in. For the month we were there Joe was the official box-maker although Angie made more than her fair share the week she was with us. These photos of Joe were taken next to Bill's bus on Hickam.
Left Center Photo: Angie bought her father an Aloha gift for a souvenir from Hawaii. She put it on to model it for us.
Lower Left Photo: Joe captured this great shot of a fighter jet.
Lower Right Photo: The one souvenir Joe wanted to take back to Florida was a ukulele. He found cheap ones at the flea market, very expensive ones at Hilo Hattie's, and finally just what he was looking for at Honolulu Nuts & Ukulele Co. By the time we left Hawaii he was singing and playing “Under the Boardwalk” for us.
