I made this as a wedding gift for my nephew and his bride. This was the first time I'd tried paper distressing...dampening, wadding, inking and drying and I was, quite literally, terrified! I did NOT want to goof it up. When all was said and done, I was pretty happy with the way it turned out.
Awhile back I printed out real pictures of butterflies on my Print Shop program and cut them out. I love butterflies. The white magnolias are also pictures of real flowers. The roses are cut out from scrapbook paper and I gave them a little dimension with Glossy Accents. I put it in a black frame and added red rhinestones and pearls to the corners. Their wedding colors were red and black with red roses and white magnolias. The silver piece in the doily was actually a pendant I got at the local craft store and I took it apart to use for this layout. In the lower left corner is an actual earring I made years ago that I thought looked pretty with this! Thanks for looking.
