Oh wow Pat! what a fabulous photo! I think this is an amazing idea! Stunning work and that flower spray - brilliant. I like taking the unique day photos - 18.1.18 etc. My goal this year is to get every month's 18th photographed and scrapped into an album! Sort of a daily project perhaps. Love, love love your work!
Great title page and I enjoyed reading how you did it...Beautiful photo of your equine companions. You should be happy how this turned out...it's beautiful.
This is just gorgeous, Pat! The photo speaks to peace, tranquility and "rightness" in their world, perfect for starting the new year. Stunning diecuts, flowers and embellies.
This is SO gorgeous, Pat!! LOVE that mix of flowers, snowflake and embellishments and the colors here are so perfect for this photo. And you are SO right about the look on your equine buddies' faces - that's definitely a 'feed me' look! LOL!
I love the journal card and the little pin sticking out. I don't think the grey skies are a bad sign...I think it was a perfect excuse to see something else. Great picture.
WOW - you have turned your bargains from Michaels and your stash into an AMAZING lo!! love the colors, the mix of embellies, the journaling card and the wonderful photo.
You SHOULD be happy about the way this turned out - beautiful - love that floral spray with the snowflake - you're quite the bargain hunter - love it ~
Oh my goodness, I L O V E this creation. The flower cluster is so pretty & I love the quote. The sky thing worries me a little because it could mean numurous thing about a shifting of the Earth's axis. But don't worry. God is in control!!!!!!!!! I watch documenteries on T.V. Hugs<
Absolutely gorgeous Pat! I love that big snowflake and the bling strips. You are just so resourceful...I love reading all about the details of your los.
This is my cover page layout for my Project 2013 Album. It's a January 1 photo, taken in the morning, and these three are waiting on me to feed them. That's the story of my life - somebody's always wanting something. LOL
For the past four years, I've taken my January 1 photograph of the morning sunrise, but this year, the skies were overcast and there was only a gradual lightening of the grey gloom. I hope that doesn't say anything about the upcoming year, but I think I'll choose to focus my thoughts on the look of hope and expectancy on the faces of my three equine companions. Maybe they know something I don't.

I'm sharing this with several challenges this month.
#1. Project 52 Weeks Challenge #2. Design Seeds Color Challenge #3. Scrap Your Pet Challenge #4. One Photo Challenge #5. Four Categories Challenge - New Category #6. Hoarders Challenge
Technique and Supplies :
I grabbed the journal card image from the internet, then printed it over a picture of a January 1 Vintage Postcard image, also from the internet.
The large flowers are some old Prima stash that I picked up on Peachy Cheap, way back when I first started scrapping. The blue flowers are Paper Blooms from Kaisercraft. The wood clock is the last of a Prima package.
The ric-rac strip is a die cut from Sizzix - I was so excited when I found it on sale!
Michaels After Christmas Sale Aisle : The big wood snowflake had a broken arm and I picked it up for a quarter. The bling strips came off a floral spray, and the snowflake sticker strip was 80% off the package. The little white roses came out of the $1 bin - I can't make them for that!
The title letters are another Peachy Cheap deal - but I altered them with some Stampendous Aged Aqua Embossing powder.
The papers are old stash from a few years back - I think they're maybe My Mind's Eye, but I forget that kind of thing as soon as I cut the title strip off.
Martha Stewart's snowflake punch created the little snowflakes, and the stick pin is a Pat Original creation.
Thanks for taking a peek. I'm really happy with how this one turned out!
