Give a Cheer
This LO didn't come out like I wanted - I was accident prone yesterday. First I dropped my mist nozzle down on the page and made a big splurt that I didn't want, and then my dog barked at me while I was doodling the top border and I jumped and messed it up. I was too lazy to take it apart and start over, so I put embellies where I wasn't planning to to try and cover the messes. Oh well!
These are the after pics from my dd's 2010 recitals. Journaling says: I was backstage dressing room mgr again this year. Cassie did wonderfully in all her 5 dances. Beautiful in Blue with the Beginning Pointe girls made me tear up every time, and she glowed like an angel on stage in Kashmir. Symphony of the Seas was the showstopper both nights. Bob went alone on Friday and with the grandparents on Saturday.
This is for the February Monthly Sketch Challenge Week 4, and I did the twist: arrows - I included wooden arrows in the bottom border.
I used scraps from the LO's of all her 5 dances from that year to make the borders and the embellie clusters. The program is held in with magnetic snaps so that it can be removed from the page protector to read. The upper right paper is my backstage pass, and the ticket stubs are her dad's.
