This is my lo for the October Scraplift the Person Before You Challenge. I lifted Senora_x's "So Lovely" lo, found here http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/30767/view/3706309/-1/220/2.html (If you haven't checked out her gallery, you really should!)
I loved how she did the circle border with the square over it and with the twine border. I punched my circles all from one sheet of pp. I started by trimming a tiny amount off of a piece of cs, then matted it onto a piece of bright pink paper, so I would have a very thin bright pink border to my lo. Then I punched my circles from around the edge of the 12x12, keeping them in order. I adhered the circles to my background cs (with the border), then added a large square of pale pink cs. However as I looked at the "scrap" of pp that I had punched the circles from, I thought it was so pretty, I should use it. LOL So I trimmed it down and put it atop the pink cs. I had to think about it for a while because I really loved the original lo. LOL I finally decided to go with it. I then added pearl brads to the corners of the pale pink cs and used the blue/white twine around them. I cropped my pics and matted them in bright green, then glued green/white twine around the edges of the pics to soften the look of the green. I created some embellies from some scraps and used some old supplies I had to finish off the lo.
