Love how you stamped "minnie mouse" and what a great idea to scan the signature and resize it! I really like the lo, but the pic does seem to get a little lost to me. I too wondered from looking at the pic what Kade's reaction to Minnie was, so I'd love to see this journaled somewhere, even if it is on another page or hidded journaling so as not to detract from the "character" focused page. I love the sketched minnie too. Fun page! nice job.
I love this page and can't wait to see the rest of them from your trip. I think the suggestions already given are good. The only thing I noticed was the big blank spot on the top right. Maybe you could add some more little flowers..or even some doodling of flowers to help fill it up. Or maybe a small journal tag describing how you caught Minnie on her way to break and how your son felt meeting her. Wonderful job all around and looking forward to more!
I love the way you framed the autograph from Minnie!
Are you going to do a separate page on Kade to complete the trip? Like, if he was nervous to meet the charactes or if he had more fun looking around at the rides?
Very cute!!! lOVE THE COLORS, THE SIGNATURE, THE MINNIE MOUSE! i THINK THE SPACE BEETWEEN THE WORDD mINNIE mOUSE AND THE PIC IS MISSING SOMETHING; MAYBE A HIDDEN JOURNALING TAG STICKING OUT FROM THE LEFT OF THE PIC WOULD FILL IT UP AND TELL kADE;S FEELILNGS :)
wow! Your lucky Kade poses with the Disney characters, my ds wouldn't even stay a foot from anyone wearing costumes! :) Anyway, I think everyone has made wonderful comments here, if you did want to add journaling about your son's feelings, you can just place it under the pic. Love your disney pages!
Nice work! I like the way Minnie's signature looks like it's on a sign. I think you positioned everything well. I like your idea of having a page for all the different characters. Since they are in costumes, they are always photogenic. (Unlike the rest of us) So, I like the idea of displaying these pics with a focus on the characters. I think if you made a separate layout about the story of your adventures and included your son's feelings in that, then you will have captured the details of the experience, without losing this, very good idea, of paying tribute to the characters that make up Disney. Just my oppinion. I think this is great!!!
Coll! Minnie's the greatest! I think you did a wonderful job the way it is!! Maybe you can make a seperate page to go next to it and use 'Truth and Wisdom''s idea...
Very cute. The child seems so small, almost insignificant. It looks as if the little one was scared or nervous about touching Minnie Mouse ot being touched by her. I'd like to see you pull our attention to the little child. suppose you stuck a photo mount over the child, framing them and setting them apart as the most important part of that photo? I can see many colors you could choose from this layout for the photo mount.
Minnie Mouse comes and goes. When this one is gone, another will be hired. But your little one, they are the important part of this whole scene. It is really about that particular child meeting a fantasy character. Is that "Much Love, Minnie Mouse" a souvenir? I wonder if it would work better to replace it with a journal about the child's reaction to Minnie Mouse?
I got some of our Disney pictures developed and am having so much fun looking through them again! We got signatures from 11 characters. Minnie Mouse was trying to escape for a break but we caught her before she did ;)
I scanned her sig. and shrunk it down to put it on the page.
Thanks for looking!!
