Wendy's CJ Entry

Wendy's theme was, I Wish…..I used Basic Grey, 2Peas Notebook font, and fotofusion software for the photo collage…<br>Journaling reads: After waiting 10 years to have kids I never realized how much a baby can change your life!! I didn’t expect it to be so hard to have to go back to work after maternity leave…..who in their right mind leaves a 6 week old baby at day care? We had no choice, our life style required two incomes and to make a change so suddenly would not have been possible. We needed to make that decision again, after Madison was born and knew leaving her was not going to be an option. I went down to part-time and Will put in additional hours. When problems with Madison started to surface, the issues about day care once again were brought up. After much discussion and thought, Will decided to work at home to be available for our children. When I look back now, after 5 years, I WISH it had been me. I was ready to give up my career to be a stay at home mom. I want to be a SAHM. I have visions of scrapbooking during school hours, a clean house, with laundry done and put away and dinner’s at a reasonable hour. I have dreams of making the beds every morning and being the one to drive Hayden to hockey practice. But, it is not me, it is not what is best for my family…….but a working mom can dream!!<br>TFL, Mary
